Support Us in Seminary

Hopefully you've seen our heart and God's work in us by clicking through the pages and posts already published on this website.  I don't need to spend any more word convincing anyone that this is where God has placed us.  Sometimes people are so moved by the work being done by others and they want to know how they can participate in God's work in us.  I pray this page gives you an opportunity to do that.

First of all, we are honored and humbled that you would even be interested in following God's writing of our story.  It encourages us when people simply show an interest in what we are doing and let us know they are there.  So if you are following us, please let us know once in a while with an encouraging comment.

Secondly, we desperately covet your prayers.  This season of life promises to bring many new challenges.  We are living with another family.  I'm attending a very rigorous full-time educational program.  I'm trying to work as often as possible to support my family.  Most of all, I desire to be an excellent husband and a committed father and I fear that I will simply give my family the leftovers.  There will be times where we will be tired, frustrated, annoyed, and discouraged and we will need your help to beg God's Spirit to lift us up and love one another through the difficulties.

Lastly, if you are able to help financially it would be an incredible blessing.  God has blessed me with a wonderful job that is more than we ever expected, but, as I mentioned, the job is just one of many things we will need to juggle to make this a successful season of intensive discipleship.  Molly will be trying to raise money from home in multiple ways that she is skilled to do as well as save us money by keeping our home efficient and finding creative ways to serve the family healthy, delicious, and frugal meals.  The less time we need to devote to employment, the more time we can focus on learning, growing our marriage, and ministering in our community.

It is our desire to graduate with no debt so that we can immediately go to wherever God is calling us without the chains of debt holding us back.  We currently have no debt and hope to stay that way.  It would be an even greater honor to be able to use whatever resources we are blessed with in order to help other students graduate without financial burdens.  I look forward to sharing with you on this blog just how we have seen God provide, not only for us, but also for those we are serving with.
