About Us

My name is Adam.  I'm really nobody special, but I've been blessed like someone who is.  I have a beautiful wife who I have been married to for over 9 years.  Every day God teaches me something great about himself through this adventure called marriage.  We were married on a beach on a beautifully sunny morning in Maui, Hawaii and we can still hear the ocean waves calling us back for a visit.  At the rate we're saving, we'll be able to take that planned 10 year anniversary visit some time around our 50 year anniversary.

We currently have three beautiful children and are working to adopt hopefully a couple more.  Grace is now 6 years old and is my beautiful princess.  Her laughter and long blonde hair radiate the joy that she has for life into the people around her.  She is a wonderful helper at home with a huge responsibility of being a big sister, and she is the most generous child; always desiring to find a way to give everyone she meets some kind of gift.

Titus joined our family the summer of 2012 after over two years of anguish-filled prayers and a mighty humbling before God.  And he has become an even greater joy-giver than his big sister.  I have never seen a boy smile so much. When he was 9 months old, over a couple week period he had a cold, pink eye, and a new tooth breaking through, but you couldn't tell because of his constant laughter and that permanent smile glued onto his face.

Just to make things more exciting, we decided it would be good to add another child to the family before Titus turned one. Olivia was born in 2013.  We love to name our children with a goal for the character they will develop.  Olivia Joy is so named and has born witness to her name by being a sweet joyful, peacemaking little sister, always willing to forgive no matter how many times her big brother jumps on her.

God has shaped this family in a beautiful way despite our own pride and disbelief.  But for his own glory, he decided to bless us beyond measure and use circumstances of life to mold us into more holy worshipers.  Through broken bodies, adoption, church struggles, lost friends, and uncertain futures, he is molding us into more obedient and useful instruments for his kingdom.
