About this blog

Upon hearing that a large army was mobilizing to destroy the nation of Judah, Jehoshaphat dropped to his knees before God ready to obey but seeing no way forward.  In a moment of hopelessness he cried out to the one who is the Ruler of all nations, with all power and might in His hands, delivered them to the Promised Land through many miraculous works.  Not knowing his way forward, but knowing God was able to provide, he pleaded with God, "We don't know what to do, but our eyes are on You."  (2 Chronicles 20)

This blog is intended to be a journal of God's provision through this step of faith our family is taking to seminary and into full-time ministry.

In the fall of 2014 we will begin a new adventure at Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis, MN after many years of God teaching us that he is in control and knows what's better for our future than we do.

For the first 25 years of our lives, most everything went just as we had planned, receiving scholarships for college, graduating with honors, getting married on a beach in Maui, getting the first jobs we applied for, having our first child with no problems, and joining a church that had it all together.  Until God started preparing us for a new direction.  It took a few years, and will likely be an ongoing process, but for this engineer it might take a lot for me to realize that my plans aren't God plans.  And when the path isn't clear and I don't know what to do, He is preparing me to see Him work, telling me, "Keep your eyes on me."
